A Place Where Every Child Belongs

We’re Ali and Alex - friends, therapists, and passionate advocates for children of all abilities.

As a speech therapist and a physical therapist, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible children and their families. Through those experiences, one truth became impossible to ignore:

play is powerful, but not every child has equal access to it.

Too often, we saw families struggling to find spaces where their kids felt safe, included, and celebrated. Many traditional playgrounds aren't designed with every child in mind, leaving many kids on the sidelines instead of in the middle of the fun. We kept hearing the same question:

“Where can we go that’s truly for everyone?”

That question stayed with us. It turned into conversations, late-night ideas, and eventually a shared vision.

Because every child deserves a place where they belong.

Building Elevate Kids

We envisioned a space where kids of all abilities could come together to play, explore, and build friendships in a judgment-free, fully inclusive environment. A space that is safe, stimulating, and supportive for every child whether they need accessible equipment, sensory-friendly features, or simply a kind, welcoming atmosphere.

But we knew one thing: waiting to build a physical space couldn’t mean waiting to make a difference.

So we took the first step.

We founded Elevate Kids as a nonprofit organization with a mission to create immediate impact by bringing inclusive, accessible play opportunities directly into the places children already go every day. Through partnerships with schools, parks, and local communities, we’re working to introduce adaptive equipment and sensory-friendly play solutions that ensure more children can participate right now.

At the same time, we’re building toward something bigger.

That dream is Elevate Kids Inclusive Playspace.

An indoor, all-inclusive playground for children ages 0-12, thoughtfully designed to meet a wide range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs. A space where movement, regulation, and social connection are all supported, and most importantly, where no child feels left out.

Because Elevate Kids is more than a future playground.

It’s a growing movement to create spaces, opportunities, and communities where every child can play, belong, and thrive.

Our Mission

At Elevate Kids, we believe every child deserves the right to play, to be included, and to feel proud of who they are. Our mission is to create a more inclusive world through play by expanding access to sensory-friendly, accessible experiences in our communities today while working to build a future space where every child can fully belong.

We are committed to meeting children where they are, whether that’s in schools, parks, or, one day, inside our all-inclusive indoor playground.

Because inclusion looks different for every child.

Whether your child is running, crawling, using mobility devices, exploring through touch, or simply taking it all in, you belong here. This is a space, and a movement, built with intention, professional insight, and a deep respect for the uniqueness of every child and family.

Ali is a speech-language pathologist and one of the co-founders of Elevate Kids. She’s passionate about helping children find their voices, build confidence, and have fun while learning. Ali loves connecting with families, celebrating progress big and small and creating a space where everyone feels supported and valued. Starting Elevate Kids has been a dream come true, and she’s thrilled to help kids in the community grow, play, and thrive together.

Alex is a pediatric physical therapist and the other co-founder of Elevate Kids. She’s passionate about helping children move, explore, and gain independence through play, both in and outside of physical therapy sessions. She holds a strong belief that every child deserves access to play, regardless of physical ability, and has translated that passion into Elevate Kids. She is so excited to help build this dream of providing accessible play to allow for kids in the community to grow and play safely.
