Why a Playground?

At Elevate, we believe play is more than fun it’s essential for growth. Children learn to build friendships, strengthen their bodies, and expand their imaginations through play. A playground designed with all abilities in mind provides every child the chance to belong, move, and thrive.

Our Vision

The Playground Project will create a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic outdoor space where children of all abilities can play side by side. This playground will support motor, sensory, and social development while giving families a welcoming place to connect.

Features We Imagine

Inclusive design: equipment accessible for children with mobility, sensory, and developmental needs.
Therapeutic play zones: areas that encourage balance, coordination, strength, and social skills.
Family-friendly space: seating and gathering areas to bring the community together.

Why It Matters

Accessibility: Many playgrounds aren’t built for children with disabilities. We want to change that.
Community Impact: A shared space where families can connect, children can play together, and everyone feels welcome.
Therapy Beyond the Clinic: Play is therapy. This playground expands opportunities for growth outside traditional therapy sessions.
